My name is Jess Tim and, as you can see throughout my website, details are my strength when drawing, painting, or working with ceramics. I enjoy drawing portraits, whether it’s my own character like the butterfly woman shown in my portfolio or exaggerating features of "real-life" people as seen in my "Creepy Kids" collection. I am available for commission work in which I will convert photographs of people or pets into either "realistic" or "creepy" paintings or drawings. I can be reached at the email listed below. I am currently attending college and will be graduating in Spring 2017 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Drawing and Painting. I am looking forward to showcasing my talents either in the film, print or gaming industries. Thank you.
Jess Tim was born 1993 in Sacramento, California. She first experienced art in middle school which she then later explored more in high school. It wasn't until community college that she realized she wanted to be a professional artist. After transferring to University of Colorado Denver, Tim delved deeper into the art field by learning new styles and techniques along with exploring contemporary art in different art galleries and museums. One of her biggest influences was studying art in Japan in 2015. Jess Tim was awarded for her work in Colorado Next Fest Music Festival and exhibited in the CU Denver Spring 2016 Juried Student Show.
